Haldiram’s

Many of you are likely familiar with this place that serves savory and sweet snacks (some of which may even qualify as meals):  Haldiram’s.  With locations in several countries across the globe Haldiram brings joy and spice to many around the world.

I had a chance to satisfy my craving at one of the 18 locations in the Delhi NCR area.  mmm..mm.

Try their Papdi Chat: A tangy / sweet appetizer made with crispy wafers garnished with a delicious combination of potatoes, tomatoes, chickpeas, yogurt and flavored with spices and red & green chutneys.

Raj Kachori: Essentially a round disc-shaped kachori (shell made by frying dough) filled with a delicious moong dal (cooked lentils) mixture, potatoes, and onions.  Garnished with pomegrante and sev (snack mix) and ofcourse the chutneys.

You can’t tell me looking at all this isn’t making your mouth water..

Oh and did I mention, the place is sugar heaven for those who have a sweet tooth.   The options are flavors are endless.

Next time you see a Haldiram, take a pause, step in and enjoy a snack! You won’t regret it.
