Tokyo Table

This modern yet authentic Japanese restaurant has quickly become my favorite place to go in LA.  Tokyo Table serves some very innovative dishes!

Lobster crunch roll: California roll topped w/ lobster tempura drizzled in spicy creamy sauce ($13.95)

Lobster Dynamite: Lobster and seasonal vegetables baked in rich creamy dynamite sauce served with French baguettes ($10.95)

Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice: Crispy soy sesame flavored sushi rice topped w/ spicy tuna and pickled jalapeno ($9.95)

Sushi Pizza: Baked sushi rice with salmon, scallops, crab mix & onion, cut into bite-sized pieces and topped with sliced jalapenos ($9.95); in this case with chicken.

My personal favorite.  Super creative, the ‘pizza base’ is seaweed and rice is the dough.

And who knew but they do great desserts as well!  I don’t have much of a sweet tooth, but these are crowd pleasers!

Banana Flambe: Baked banana drizzled w/ caramel and chocolate, topped with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream ($7.95)

Fruits Trio Fritter: Deep fried banana, strawberries, and cinnamon apples served w/ vanilla ice cream ($6.95)
